If you are not at home and nobody at the destination address can pick up the package, Correos will leave you a notice to pick you up at the post office. If after the deadline indicated on the sheet you do not pick up the package, Correos will return the package to us. If you decide in the same way to reject the delivery of the package please keep in mind the following point.
You should know that although Correos returns the package to us, it does not return the cost of the shipment. Once the package arrives, we will refund you the total amount you have paid, subtracting the shipping costs. If you did not pay shipping costs for having free shipping, you would be equally discounted the amount that we have paid to send you the shipment. We can show you this cost with the corresponding Correos documents.
In addition, if your order was sent with Correos PAQ modality (whatever its sub-modality, Standard, Premium, Light International, etc.), you should know that Correos also charges us to return the package to our office, for the same amount that we paid to send it to you. If you decide not to pick up an order sent and returned with the Correos PAQ modality, or you indicated an incorrect address, the shipping costs multiplied by X2 will be deducted from the rest of the amount to be returned. It is exactly what Correos charges us.
We will proceed in this way in these three cases:
- In the event that the recipient rejects the package, whatever the reason may be.
- If you indicated an incorrect or incomplete destination address, and Correos can not deliver the package for that reason.
- If you do not pick up the package in the office within the period indicated by Correos.
